RESCHEDULED: Eastbound I-84 “loop” on-ramp at Meridian to close Saturday night
BOISE – Tonight’s closure of the I-84 eastbound “loop” on-ramp at Meridian Road has been rescheduled for Saturday night (April 26). Crews were scheduled to build a temporary “loop” on-ramp at Meridian Road tonight, but due to weather this work will be done tomorrow night.
On Saturday (April 26), the eastbound I-84 "loop" on-ramp from southbound Meridian Road will close starting at 10 p.m. Click here for a map.
During the overnight closure, motorists can still access eastbound I-84 from the on-ramp on the northbound side of Meridian Road. Flaggers will direct both northbound and southbound traffic across the ramp intersection. A temporary loop on-ramp will reopen by 7 a.m. Sunday morning (April 27).
Crews will finish the traffic shift Sunday night with the ramp open. The nearby eastbound I-84 off-ramp will be narrower on Saturday and Sunday nights during the transition.
Overnight lane restrictions will continue on I-84 under the Meridian Road Interchange from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends.
