Arroway starts July 24 as ITD’s first-ever Information Management
program manager

Jezmynne Arroway will become the first program manager of ITD’s Information Management section July 24. Arroway brings 15 years of professional experience to the department, as a natural innovator, organizer, and creative thinker.

Arroway will manage the department’s IT function, focusing on oversight rather than technical hands-on assistance.

“ITD’s information, like any other department asset, has value. The value of the asset increases in direct relationship to the number of people able to make use of the information,” explained ITD Chief Information Officer Chris Victory.

To address this, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) created a new role to combine existing records-management functions with the management of data. Arroway will manage those needs.

“Jez was chosen for her passion and qualifications in managing information for the betterment of the department,” explained Victory. “She brings with her the experience to partner with our operations groups in implementing and effective approach to managing this valuable asset.”

Arroway earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of New Mexico, and a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Jez enjoys spending time with her family, traditional archery, gardening, reading, and enjoying all the adventures Idaho offers.

Previously, she was Director of the Portneuf Library in Chubbuck, and a Science and Instruction Librarian at the Claremont Colleges, in Claremont, California.
