D3 escorts Idaho Christmas tree to Statehouse for Nov. 28 lighting

The Idaho Statehouse Christmas tree made its journey from a southeast Boise neighborhood with assistance from ITD’s District 3’s Boise maintenance crew.

Travis Dodd, Jay Cardona and Rusty Church provided transportation assistance and a flat-bed truck for for the Blue Spruce move to the Capitol on Nov. 21. In conjunction with Boise Police, D3 staff ensured the 50-foot tree made it safely to its final destination, where it will be lit as part of a ceremony on Nov. 28.
