Employees revel in ITD Christmas parties

Hundreds of ITD employees from district offices across the state gathered at various times in the last week to celebrate the holidays. Here are a few photos from the various parties:

District 1 had about 70 employees turn out for the event Dec. 15 in Coeur d'Alene, including Traffic Engineer Justin Wuest (thumbs up in blue) and Permit Coordinator Stacy Simkins, looking at camera:

District 2's party Dec. 15 in Lewiston featured about 30 employees. It came on the heels of a big snow event that closed area schools, so the attendance was lower as parents were home with kids and others were out plowing area roads.

District 3 had about 100 employees for their event Dec. 15 in Boise (pictured below, right).:

District 4's party in Shoshone Dec. 13 featured about 40 folks and a silent auction. The silent auction raised $500 for the East End Provider in Kimberly which helps low-income families with food baskets and clothing year round as well as Christmas baskets with toys and other necessities.

Additionally, D4 employees donated at least a few hundred pounds of food to some area food banks in the Magic Valley.

District 5 had their party Dec. 15 in Pocatello. Approximately 50 employees and retirees attended the potluck.

District 6 had about 65 attendees at their party Dec. 20 in Rigby, including the Grinch (District Engineer Jason Minzghor, holding his 3-year-old daughter, Athena (pictured at right).
