Yankovich starts as new Internal Review Manager March 6

Michelle Yankovich will start her new role as Internal Review Manager at ITD Headquarters on March 6, reporting directly to ITD Chief Administrative Officer Charlene McArthur.

Yankovich comes to ITD with more than 20 years of accounting, consulting and management experience in the public and private sectors. Her experience includes being Chief Financial Officer of a school district, a partner in a large public accounting firm, and a Controller for a for-profit entity.

Most recently, Yankovich has been doing risk-advisory services for clients in a national public accounting firm. In this role, she led teams performing risk assessment, internal audits, and complex Sarbanes Oxley compliance projects. Michelle's background also includes directing initiatives toward designing and improving overall internal control environments.

Michelle was raised in Idaho and has lived in Alaska, Texas, and Washington. She lives in Nampa and is married, with one adult daughter. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Idaho, Alaska, and Texas.
