Show work zone safety support at Go Orange Day            

Don’t miss the opportunity to show your support for our ITD coworkers who put themselves at risk in work zones on Go Orange Day, on Wednesday (April 5).

This social movement is an opportunity to share your appreciation for those in our department who are the “boots on the road.” With cars zooming past work zones, orange vests and hard hats can make the difference between life and death.

This year, we are hosting a concerted effort to let our work zone fellows know we stand behind them. National Work Zone Awareness Week is 3-7 April.

There will be a special photo and video opportunity at HQ on April 5!

We hope to get dozens of our HQ workers to wear orange that day and come to the front lawn at 10:00 am. There, we will get photos and video of everyone supporting work zone employees.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this FUN and quick event! Orange vests will be provided on a limited basis.
