Sign Me Up For Safety – slogan competition open to ITD employees            

ITD is hosting a slogan competition for the100 Critical Days of Summer. The top 10 slogans will be displayed on Dynamic Message Signs along the interstates throughout Idaho.

Ground Rules:

Eligible participants include ITD employees and their family members.

Submit a Safety message relating to the 100 Critical Days of Summer for use on the statewide Dynamic Message Board System (DMS) during the summer of 2017.

Subject matter can include, but is not limited to, Construction or Work Zone Safety, Distracted Driving, Impaired Driving, Seatbelt Use, and Summer or Recreation Safety.

Messages can be no longer than 14 characters per line and be up to three lines (format is below).

Submissions should be positive, engaging, simple, clear, and thought provoking. Humor is acceptable but not necessary. Messages must be in good taste. No potty mouth, please.

Send your submissions to the ITD Employee Safety Manager at the e-mail address below. He will collect the submissions and screen them for DMS message board fit. At the end of the submission period, the Safety Manager will send out all the submissions, anonymously, for voting. YOU, the ITD employees get to vote for and select the top 10 messages.

Submission period is 15 April – 15 May. Voting period is May 16- 29.
