D3, service providers earn kudos for response this winter

Below is a recent kudos from one of the "Adopt a Highway" partners in District 3, Cortney Nielsen:

I want to thank ITD for doing the very best they could given the very new circumstances that the winter brought upon us. No one could have predicted that, and I believe that everyone did the very best they could given the situation.

I got so tired of hearing all the complaining on the news, that I called channel 7 and left word about doing a story on appreciation and saying thank you to everyone who was doing their best in those crazy two months of snow, they didn't even call me back. I guess negativity sells these days.

So thank you again ITD for everything! I appreciate you! I mean not only ITD but ACHD, and police, paramedics, firemen, postal workers and garbage men...everyone who was out on those roads and doing their best, really deserved a big thank you.

So thanks again, better late than never.
