A Savory Tradition: the D6 employee benefit luncheon

A popular tradition at District 6 is the employee benefit luncheon each spring and fall. The event was held April 26 at the Chuck-a-Rama Buffet in Idaho Fall, with about 96 people in attendance:

Officials started the event 34 years ago as a way to recognize employee service.

Luncheons generally feature all-you-can-eat buffets – which employees typically take full advantage of – courtesy of the District 6 Employee Benefit Fund. Employees from around the district gathered to eat and visit in a relaxed setting.

The only downside of the event is staying awake during the afternoon after consuming mounds of delicious food. Tough life.
