ITD Governance Conference April 27 provides template for future

ITD’s Governance Board, a group that formed six months ago to prioritize work based on business needs and requirements, met April 27 in Boise. The outcome was a template to guide their future course.

“It was good to see people from across the department actively engaging to achieve excellence in technology governance, said CIO Chris Victory. “We had sessions to achieve clarity in our goals, roles and commitment to the vision. We measured this clarity through an online poll, and our metrics demonstrate an overall increase in understanding and commitment.”

“Our challenge over the next few months is to reinforce this understanding within the individual boards through setting clearly defined and achievable objectives in the near term,” he added.
