Open house Thursday (May 25) will provide details about I-84 weekend crossovers between Nampa and Caldwell

The Idaho Transportation Department will host an open house Thursday (May 25) to inform motorists about upcoming Interstate 84 repaving between the Franklin Boulevard Interchange in Nampa and the Franklin Road Interchange in Caldwell

The majority of this work will occur over four weekends in June.

ITD has developed a unique weekend crossover approach to lessen the impact of construction on commuters who use I-84 on a daily basis.

ITD will share details about construction activities and upcoming weekend crossovers at the open house at the Hampton Inn in Nampa (5750 Franklin Road). Community members are invited to stop by at their convenience from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Idaho Materials & Construction is the contractor for this $9.5 million project.
