Application period now open for ITD's 2017 Leadership Summit

Idaho Transportation Department’s Senior Leadership Team is excited to announce the department is now taking applications for ITD’s 2017 Leadership Summit. The 2017 Summit will be a “Rapid Innovation Event” — the next step in ITD’s journey to becoming the best transportation department by continually developing employees and innovating business practices.

Summit attendees will:

Develop leadership and problem-solving skills
Collaborate with people from across the state
Learn new tools and learn about other aspects within ITD
Achieve by creating solutions to real issues at the department

This year’s summit will begin with teams meeting for one week either at headquarters or at a district location to work on the problem as a team. The team will receive training that they will utilize during that time to problem solve. Then the teams will come together in Boise October 25 for a report out, all-day event.

To participate, please apply through this SharePoint link and complete the questionnaire by June 30. Candidates selected for the 2017 summit will be notified by July/August.

There will be 13 teams participating in this year’s summit. Participant selection will be based on leadership potential, interest in participation, on-the-job performance, and demonstration of constructive behaviors as determined by Senior Leadership Team members.
