Construction at State Street/36th Street
Veterans Memorial Parkway Intersection

Plenty of changes coming, plenty of police already patrolling.

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is rebuilding the intersection of State Street, Veterans Memorial Parkway and 36th Street just west of the ITD Headquarters complex in Boise. Construction is expected to be complete this fall.

Traffic has now shifted. Changeable message boards have been placed near those locations and at the intersection to remind commuters.

Drivers are reminded to slow down, find another route if possible, and be cautious and courteous during construction.

Officers have been patrolling the area for several weeks, enforcing the lower speed limit and new traffic patterns.
