Forms Finder replaced by SharePoint July 1 to support processes

Those who have used Forms Finder for years will need to take a new route to forms as of July 1, as the old system will be replaced by another process.

"The layout and location of where ITD employees will access any form will be different," explained Janet French, Record and Forms Analyst for ITD. "It will be in a SharePoint library and not Form Finder, which is a separate application."

According to French, the key points to remember are:

- Effective July 1, forms will be available on SharePoint in the new Forms Library found on the main Portal page.
- Form owners will now be responsible for creating, revising, and deleting forms in their business areas.
- Forms will no longer by centrally managed by a Forms Analyst.

"Decentralizing the forms process gives the business areas both the responsibility for, and the opportunity to, efficiently and effectively implement business process changes," French added.
