I-84 slab replacement west of Boise begins Wednesday (Oct. 7) morning

BOISE - An Idaho Transportation Department project will begin tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 7) morning to repair and replace some badly deteriorated concrete slabs on I-84 eastbound west of Boise.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., state maintenance crews will work on the slab replacements from milepost 44 to 46, causing the closure of the two right-hand interstate lanes in that stretch. Traffic will be reduced to two lanes, and the speed limit will drop to 45 mph.
