New striping on Idaho 75 in Bellevue will narrow lanes

BELLEVUE - New striping will narrow the lanes of Idaho 75 through the city of Bellevue beginning this week, weather permitting, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The faded lines of the former lanes will temporarily remain, but It is anticipated the worn former lane lines will be completely obliterated in about two weeks.

Drivers are asked to watch for the new lane markers and remain within those new lanes.

The shift of lane markers is being completed at the request of the city of Bellevue to assist in speed-reduction efforts within the city limits. Crews are expected to be performing the restriping work Wednesday afternoon if weather permits. The restriping may be delayed if weather conditions are not ideal.
