Why This Is Important

In an effort to meet customers’ growing expectations for convenience and simplicity, DMV’s Skip the Trip campaign focuses on exploring options to complete more DMV transactions outside of a traditional DMV office. In order to reduce costs and build efficiencies, the campaign’s current goals include increasing online transaction availability and centralizing DMV transactions by leveraging automation and high-speed equipment.

How We Measure It

This measure captures customer transactions completed online, by mail, or through an authorized provider. The online transactions include website transactions, QR code transactions, and e502 transactions.

What We're Doing About It

ITD is working to expand the ability of “skip the trip” options to create ease of availability and cost savings to the citizens of Idaho.
