Mobility council to meet Tuesday in Boise

The Idaho Mobility Council (IMC), including members of the Public Transportation Advisory Council and Interagency Working Group, will meet Tuesday (Oct. 18) at the Boise Hotel and Conference Center, 3300 Vista Ave., in Boise.

The public is invited to attend the meeting scheduled in the Cascade Room from 9 a.m. and to 3 p.m.

The agenda includes an update of a proposed vehicle replacement program for Idaho public transportation providers, discussion of procedures for changing Local Mobility Management Network boundaries, a process discussion and a review of potential transit-related legislative items.

Other topics will include a coordination pilot project for the Sandpoint and Mountain Home communities, training opportunities through the Rural Transportation Assistance Program, a review of four major technology initiatives under way supporting Idaho transit systems, an Idaho Rideshare Program update and a review of federal subsidy performance.

IMC provides leadership, enhances coordination and leverages funding in the development of Idaho’s mobility system.
