Nominations accepted for Icon Credit Union board positions;
annual meeting scheduled May 24

The entire credit union benefits when members participate. All members are equal owners of the credit union. Icon Credit Union’s annual meeting is an occasion for management and elected officers to report to you, the owners.

The annual meeting provides you an opportunity to learn about the credit union’s financial position, services, accomplishments and goals. It also is a chance to connect with other credit union members.

Elections to fill three board member positions expiring this year will be held at the Icon Credit Union Annual Meeting. It will be at the Owyhee Plaza Hotel, Ballroom, May 24.

The nominating committee has nominated the following three members:

Glenda Fuller (incumbent): Glenda has worked at the Idaho Transportation Department for 28 years and has been an Icon volunteer for four years on the supervisory committee and eight years serving on the board of directors.

Bob Snyder (incumbent): Bob retired recently from Idaho Transportation Department after 27 years and has been an Icon volunteer on the board of directors for the past eight years.

Brian Holleran: Brian is an attorney with the law firm Meuleman Mollerup LLP, focusing his legal practice in the areas of business law, real estate law and estate planning/probate.

Additional nominations for these vacancies may be made by petition signed by at least 144 (1 percent) of members eligible to vote (18 years or older). Each nominee by petition must submit a similar statement of qualifications and biographical data with the petition by March 30 to the secretary of the credit union, Paige Weber, 7615 W. Riverside Dr., Boise, ID 83714.

Nominations by petition must be accompanied by a signed certificate from the nominee or nominees stating that they agree to the nomination and they will serve if elected to office. When the number of nominees equals the number of director positions to be filled, the election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor.

Over the next few months, you will see more information in the branches and on the Icon Credit Union Website regarding our annual meeting. Mark it in on your calendar – the Icon Credit Union annual meeting, the evening of May 24 at Owyhee Plaza Hotel ballroom.
