Personal assistance truly outstanding

To: Lynn Rhodes, Naomi Rawls, John Barsness
Division of Motor Vehicles

Thanks to all of you for your personal assistance. It is concerned involvement like this from Idaho's public servants that make me proud to be an Idahoan. You can't find very many of us in the Army (although Boise State Bronco's apparel has become popular during football season). I've been stationed in Washington State, Kansas, Georgia, Missouri, Germany and Korea, but the assistance I've received from Idaho has always been above anything I've received anywhere else.

Thanks again,

Kevin M. Pelley
Major, U.S. Army

Culture of expedience permeates ITD

Ed Pemble,

I am writing to let you know that I received the instruction permit that was placed in the mail.  Receiving the ID should prove to be an invaluable aid to the citizens of Idaho that we help to serve, and I appreciate receiving it so quickly.

I would also like to take the time to commend the efficiency of your department. I have spent the past month in the process of requesting cards from all 50 states, and I must say that yours is the only department that responded with exactly what was needed with the least amount of red tape.

This is no small feat, and although it applies to a matter which may appear minor, I am certain that it reflects the bigger picture of how your department conducts business.  Even down to the little yellow slip of paper that the ID was attached to, stating 'Please let us know if we can help you again', the culture of expedience and caring that was thought through and permeates your processes is evident.
