Quick Facts book gives inside glimpse of ITD

If you have wondered …

  • How many centerline miles of highway there are on the state system
  • How much of ITD’s 2012 budget comes from the federal government
  • How many miles comprise the Peaks to Craters Scenic Byway
  • How many fatal crashes in Idaho are related to distracted driving, or
  • How to contact the Cotterel Port of Entry …

Wonder no longer. All of those details, and a treasure chest of others, are contained in the ITD Quick Facts book recenly completed by the Office of Communications. The compact 26-page publication includes information on administrative leaders and board members, budget facts, highways and bridges, motor vehicles, aeronautics, public transportation and highway safety.

It also includes a “contacts” section that lists telephone numbers of some of the department’s most frequently called offices.

Printed copies of the Quick Facts book are available from the Communications Office at Headquarters (334-8005) or can be downloaded for printing from ITD’s publications page on the Web.
