ITD participates at Meridian Public Works Expo

ITD representatives attended Meridian’s Public Works Expo May 24 to share information about the scheduled Eagle Improvement Project and to develop a mail list for interested individuals.

They also staffed a booth at the expo, explained capabilities of the ITD Incident Response truck that was on display and offered safe driving tips. The team also handed out pens, lanyards, key chains, 511 cards, and “Put it down” thumb rings to remind people to not text and drive.

Incident Response Driver Kyle Wright gave people the opportunity to view an ITD Incident Response vehicles. The department has made more than 100,000 stops/drivers assists the past decade as a service to interstate travelers.
