Financial help sought for ITD burnout victim

A range fire that swept through an area near Mountain Home early this week destroyed 12-15 buildings and damaged or consumed six homes, including that of ITD’s Clyde Charbonneau.

The Headquarters employee lost his home and all of its contents in the fire that began about 7:30 p.m. Monday near Airbase Road. Three of the six homes were occupied, said Sue Robinson of the American Red Cross in Boise.

To assist Charbonneau in recovering from the fire, ITD co-workers at Headquarters have launched a collection campaign. Cans were placed in the Headquarters lobby, at Business Support and in the Annex. Contributions can be sent to Tammy Jauregui, Sandy Harris, Karen Walser or to the DMV financial unit.
