Mobility council to meet Aug. 7 in Boise

Funding and program updates will lead discussion when the Idaho Mobility Council (IMC), including members of the Public Transportation Advisory Council and Interagency Working Group, meet next week in Boise.

The agenda includes discussion of service adjustments for the city of Driggs, a final proposal review for the new Idaho Intercity Bus program, Federal Transit Administration rural funding, the federal transportation reauthorization bill and Medicaid transportation.

Other topics will include an overview of Idaho’s Transportation Reimbursement, Integration and Performance System (ITRIPS) and updates to a Coordination Pilot Project, the Idaho Rural Transportation Assistance Program, the Idaho Rideshare Program, statewide public transportation activities and the Idaho Transportation Department’s Division of Transportation Performance.

IMC provides leadership, enhances coordination and leverages funding in the development of Idaho’s mobility system.
