Mobility council to meet Tuesday in Boise

A proposed statewide Mobility Management System Analysis and preparations for an April workshop will lead discussion when the Idaho Mobility Council (IMC), meets Tuesday at the Best Western Vista Inn in Boise.

The public is invited to attend the meeting scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The IMC includes members of the Public Transportation Advisory Council (PTAC) and Interagency Working Group.

The agenda includes a status report on a proposed Mobility Management System Analysis for Idaho, under consideration for formal approval by PTAC, and designing a workshop structure for April’s meeting that will:

  • Generate a shared understanding of the roles, responsibilities, challenges and needs of the agencies responsible for human service and public transportation, and their customers
Produce a dialogue among IMC members and the council’s interested stakeholders to better understand challenges, needs and opportunities related to the coordinated delivery of services, and
Identify a number of prioritized opportunities for the IMC to actively pursue to effectively acknowledge and reduce barriers to coordination

IMC provides leadership, enhances coordination and leverages funds in the development of Idaho’s mobility system.
