Lesson learned … life saved

Division of Motor Vehicles
Idaho Transportation Department

I just wanted to personally thank the course instructors for Alive at 25 Idaho.

A couple of days ago, I got into a really bad accident that totaled my car and sent me to the emergency room. The back of my car was smashed into the back seat, and the engine of my car was smashed.

Luckily, I was wearing my seat belt. If I hadn’t been, I would have been ejected and severely injured.

Before this accident, I attended the Alive at 25 class at the Nampa Police Station on May 9 for a speeding violation. If it wasn’t for the instructors, I would probably be in a body bag.

Thank you for your time to teach our generation about how to stay alive. This class is not a waste of time. I can promise you that!

Thank you for saving my life.
