MADD to hold "Mother of All Walks" fundraiser

It's not too late to join the 2014 Walk Like MADD or MADD dash planned for Saturday, June 14 at Veteran's Park in Boise. Teams are still forming for the annual fundraiser to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving and that organization's efforts to prevent impaired driving.

This year's event features a "MADD Hatter" one-mile fun run for all ages, a family-friendly Kid's Zone, live music and more.

The 5K (3.1 miles) timed run begins at 9 a.m. at Veteran's Park and the 5K walk begins at 9:15 a.m. The cost to participate in a 5K event is $20 for adults and $15 for youth. The MADD Hatter fun run begins at 11 a.m. and costs $15 each for all ages.
