Sen. Keough recognizes U.S. 95 construction

It is nice when good work is recognized — and even more gratifying when that recognition comes from a member of the state’s legislative body.

On Oct. 31, Sen. Shawn Keough sent a note to District 1 District Engineer Damon Allen expressing her appreciation for recent work on U.S. 95 in a critical GARVEE corridor. Keough is the Idaho state senator for Legislative District One, which includes Bonner and Boundary counties in northern Idaho.
.
First elected in 1996, Keough is serving her ninth term. Along with many other tasks and committees duties, Keough serves on the Senate Transportation Committee.

“Hello Damon!  I just wanted to say THANK YOU and THANK YOU to the staff at ITD and to the contractors for the completion of the construction on Highway 95 between Athol and Granite Hill.

“As someone who commutes on that stretch almost daily it is AWESOME to have such a beautiful road!

“Thank you again!”
