2014: By the Numbers

As the calendar flips from 2014 to 2015, it is worthwhile to look back at some of the numbers that made the past 12 months so enlightening.

There were 552 press releases issued. More than half of those were District 3 related — 300 of them. The Office of Communications posted to the department’s social media sites, Facebook and Twitter, 1,027 times. ITD was recognized with 28 awards or honors in 2014. There were 3,759 transportation-related press clippings distributed.

And, as of this edition of the Transporter, there have been 348 stories written and posted.
