Employees show support for National Wear Red Day

National Wear Red Day on Feb. 6 helped remind people that they need to protect themselves and loved ones from heart disease and stroke by understanding the risks and following these preventive suggestions from the Centers for Disease Control:

- Get up and get active! Be physically active for at least 30 minutes, at least three days a week.

- Eat a heart-healthy diet that includes fresh fruits and vegetables, and foods low in sodium and trans-fat.

- Take control of your heart health by following your doctor's prescription instructions.
