Free workshop March 16 explains federal rules and regulations to construction contractors

Construction contractors and local agencies from throughout Idaho can learn about labor regulations and requirements for federal projects at a free workshop March 16 in Boise that also will be broadcast statewide.

The workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Noon to 2 p.m. PST) in Idaho Transportation Department Headquarters' Auditorium at 3311 W. State Street. The training will be broadcast live to each of ITD's district offices outside of Boise.

District 1 - 600 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene
District 2 - 2600 Frontage Road, Lewiston
District 4 - 216 S. Date St., Shoshone
District 5 - 5151 S. 5th Ave., Pocatello
District 6 - 206 N. Yellowstone Ave, Rigby

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) will talk about OFCCP's mission, state and federal regulations, equal employment opportunity, and workplace harassment.
