Work continues on Idaho 55 North Fork Payette Bridge near Cascade

Construction of the North Fork Payette Bridge near Cascade continued June 15 with placement of four girders for the new bridge. ITD is replacing the 65-year-old structure located on Idaho 55 to meet current safety and traffic load standards. Features will include two, 12-foot-wide traffic lanes, bike lanes, raised sidewalks and bridge approaches in either direction. Construction will be complete in fall 2015. RSCI, of Meridian, is the general contractor.
