ITD’s Healy named Government Accountant’s Recruiter of Year

Idaho Transportation Department Principal Auditor Sandra Healy was recently named the Association of Government Accountant’s (AGA) national Recruiter of the Year. In the fiscal year, she personally added 25 members to the organization.

AGA is the member organization for financial professionals in government.  Its mission is to “foster learning, certification, leadership and collaboration for professionals and stakeholders committed to advancing government accountability.”  Healy earned her Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation through the AGA.

Healy’s national award was announced in early June. Idaho Centennial AGA Chapter president Judy Shock sent a letter of thanks to ITD Internal Review Manager Carri Rosti for allowing Healy to serve as membership committee chairperson.

“Her leadership skills are exemplary, she’s an outstanding and conscientious board member, and has set a high standard and goal to work well with everyone she comes in contact with,” explained Shock. “Sandra’s enthusiasm is infectious and highly motivating.  I want to congratulate her again for the exemplary work in developing a solid membership plan for the chapter and receiving the top sponsor award!”

As the top sponsor, Healy will receive a complimentary AGA national meeting registration and recognition at this year’s Professional Development Training conference July 12-15 in Nashville, Tenn.

“We are very proud of Sandra and her accomplishments,” said ITD Director Brian Ness.

“Internal Review and ITD are fortunate to have high-performing, constructive employees such as Sandra on our Team.  I am happy that AGA is nationally recognizing Sandra,” Rosti added.
