ITD From the Vault: Somber statistics '77

Fatalities from highway crashes easily outpace the casualties of war, but generally come to us without the accompanying headlines.

You can add the deaths from the most recent conflicts — Desert Storm, Desert Shield and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan — to the numbers you see below, and still not come close to the carnage we see on the nation's highways.

These deaths on the highways are sad, but largely preventable. That fact is another reason why safety is ALWAYS a top priority at ITD.
