Schuermann earns kudos for handling of permit application

Drivers Services’ Pamela Schuermann recently earned kudos for her handling of a restricted permit application on Sept. 28.
Schuermann was called to the lobby at ITD’s Headquarters to help a customer who’d filled out his permit application but was unsure about the next step in the aftermath of a license suspension.

“Pamela was very informative and gave him good advice on what to ask for in court when he goes to appeal the underlying conviction,” explained Lisa Helton, supervisor in the Suspension Unit. “He was very grateful for her help and expertise.”

Schuermann received a package in the mail Oct. 23 from the very grateful customer, containing a signed book and artwork.

“I am very grateful, too, that she would go the extra mile and come out and talk to the customer face-to-face,” Helton said. “Thank you, Pamela, for your excellent customer service!”
