2015: By the Numbers

As the clock turns from 2015 to 2016, it is instructive to look back at some of the numbers that defined the past year.

There were 525 press releases issued in 2015. District 3 contributed most of them — 201. The Office of Communication posted to the department’s social-media sites, Facebook and Twitter, more than 1,100 times. ITD was recognized with more than 50 awards or honors in 2015, ITD’s top yearly total ever.  ITD also was featured in AASHTO publications more than 50 times during the course of the year.

And, as of this edition of the Transporter, there have been 331 stories written and posted in our 52 weekly editions.
