Idaho high school students encouraged to take the Just Drive challenge

Young people from throughout Idaho are invited to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving with the Just Drive Video Challenge for young drivers. ITD’s Office of Highway Safety has partnered with television station KTVB to sponsor the competition.

Students enrolled in any public or private Idaho high school may participate by submitting a 15-second video promoting attentive driving by encouraging others to drive phone-free. The deadline for submissions is March 11.

Videos will be judged on creativity, message clarity, persuasiveness and production quality. The winning video will be broadcast on KTVB and throughout Idaho during Distracted Driving Month in April.

Producers of the winning video will receive a GoPro HERO4 Session camera valued at $199.99.
