Editor's 2016 Note: Metrication obviously did not "stick" at ITD, or in this nation, for that matter. In fact, the dual speedometer with miles per hour and kilometers per hour might be as close as some of us ever come. The only remaining nonmetric countries in the world are the United States, Liberia and Myanmar (Burma).
