Apply now for ITD 2016 Leadership Summit

Idaho Transportation Department’s Senior Leadership Team says it is excited to announce the department is now taking applications for ITD's 2016 Leadership Summit. The 2016 Summit will be a “Rapid Innovation Event” and is the next step in ITD’s journey to becoming the best by continually developing employees and innovating business practices.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for people to combine their leadership skills and passion for innovation in an exciting collaborative team environment,” said Chief Administrative Officer Charlene McArthur.

Summit attendees will:

  • Develop leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with people from across the state
  • Learn new tools and about other aspects of ITD
  • Achieve by creating solutions to real issues at the department

This year’s leadership summit activities will culminate with a three-day event, Oct. 25-27. During the coming months, there will be training and preparation for the event, as needed, based on a problem each team is working to solve.

To participate, please apply through this SharePoint link and complete the questionnaire, by April 22.  Candidates selected for the 2016 summit will be notified and posted by the end of May.

There will be 10 teams participating in this year’s summit. Participant selection will be based on leadership potential, interest in participation, on-the-job performance, and demonstration of constructive behaviors as determined by Senior Leadership Team members.
