ITD earns record-breaking 13 Idaho Press Club awards

Staff members from ITD’s Office of Communication (and Governmental Affairs) won a record-breaking 13 Idaho Press Club awards at the annual competition. The awards were handed out April 30 in Boise.

Approximately 160 news media and public-relations professionals from throughout the state gathered for the awards presentation, which honors efforts across the state.

While the 13 awards are a record for ITD's staff, success is not uncommon for the Communication Office — the office has won 45 Idaho Press Club awards in the last five years. This includes awards for news releases, feature writing, newsletters, media campaigns, public service campaigns, media kits, online public involvement efforts, special-purpose website, script writing, social media, annual report and brand-management initiatives over the years.
