New winners highlight District 1 and District 2 equipment roadeos

A large number of participants competed in the District 1 and District 2 equipment roadeos May 24 and May 26 at the Athol Gravel Pit and at Dworshak Dam, respectively.

Only a few of the top finishers in this year's competition had won previously, clearing the way for some new names at the top of the leaderboard. The competition also showcased the road-clearing skills that translate into the highest-quality service for the driving public.

D1 – May 24
1st - Cody Kraack – Cedars Mtce.
2nd - Derek Sniders – Bonners Ferry Mtce.
3rd - Miles Stevens – Peterson (Harrison) Mtce.
Top Foreman - Dustin Chase – Coeur d'Alene Shop supervisor (2012 D1 winner)
