Maupin, Robinson repeat wins in District 6 equipment roadeo

Two winners from last year's competition repeated that performance June 9 in Idaho Falls, as Trent Maupin and Scott Robinson again took home the hardware. Maupin, of Sugar City maintenance, earned 1,953 points to outpace the rest of the field in the TT series. Robinson, also of Sugar City maintenance, won the foreman division with 1,835 points.

In second place in the TT division was Camilo Serrano, Dubois maintenance, with 1,893 points, and placing third was Corey Finn, Rigby maintenance, with 1,882 points. Stacey McCurdy, Arco maintenance, took fourth with 1,823 points. Trent, Camilo and Corey qualified to compete in the state roadeo June 14 in Idaho Falls. McCurdy was named an alternate for the event.

Scott Robinson, Sugar City, won first place in the foreman category, with 1,835 points, while Jeff Call, district operations, finished second with 1,565 points.

Robinson is also eligible to compete at the statewide final.
