Qualified Products List 208-334-8440 FAX 208-334-4411 Email: Program Administrator: Patti Fanckboner ITDQPLAdmin@itd.idaho.gov The Division of Highways has established a Product Review Team (PRT) with representation from the areas of operations, project development, bridge design, construction, maintenance, materials, roadway design and traffic. The PRT provides oversight for the review and evaluation of new products proposed for inclusion on the Department’s Qualified Products List (QPL). The Division of Highways generally intends to provide either general or project specific specifications on products that can be met by more than one supplier or manufacturer. However, when it is proposed that a product category be included on the QPL, the PRT will make the final determination. Qualification of a product is not blanket approval for use on all projects or applications. QPL products still need the appropriate tests and certifications as required by the contract in order to be accepted on the project. QPL products must be used as specified and in accordance with any conditional requirements. Where there is a conflict between the QPL and the contract provisions, the contract provisions shall take precedence over the QPL. Any product may be removed from the Qualified Products List for non-conformance with specifications or performance requirements. The Department must be notified in writing of any change in product formulation or contact information. A product which has been disqualified and removed from the Qualified Products List will be considered for reevaluation only after submission of a formal request along with acceptable evidence that the problems causing the disqualifications have been resolved.
