ITD employees who would like to be considered for Enterprise Architect Trainee positions anticipated as part of the technology transformation process are encouraged to request information packets about new Enterprise Architecture boot camp training. Training sessions are planned in the near future to help ITD employees prepare for the application process to become Enterprise Architect Trainees. The intensive training process, expected to last between three and five days, will provide a minimum qualification component for ITD employees who lack specific training or experience required to be part of the applicant pool. The promotional recruitment period for the architecture positions is not open yet. The training opportunity merely is a pre-recruitment phase for prospective applicants to help them better compete for the positions as they become open. The process begins with an application for the training (boot camp), followed by the training itself and then entrance into the architecture recruitment phase. Interested employees should submit a letter of interest, a resume identifying how they meet minimum requirements and a completed ITD 733 Training Nomination Form. The application deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5. The specialized training will include:
Those who successfully complete the training may follow the normal recruitment process to apply for the positions as they become available. The anticipated new architect positions will be supervised by the Architecture Group Manager. ITD presently is seeking applications on a promotion basis for the managers position. Current employees who wish to be considered for the managers position should go to the Department of Human Resources site: http://www.dhr.idaho.gov/jobseekers.htm . Look for the announcement under Promotional Jobs, and follow the instructions. The deadline for applying for the managers position is Nov. 1. For more information about the training process or the
