Administrative
assistants to assemble
Sept. 8 for annual workshop
ITD’s administrative assistants will embark “On
the Road to a Bright Horizon” when they assemble for the annual
workshop Sept. 8 in Boise. The workshop will be at the Nazareth Retreat
Center, 4450 N. Five Mile road.
The
day-long workshop includes seminars and presentations that provide continuing
education and networking opportunities to employees from throughout
the state.
Janie Stillwell, of the Division of Highways and chair
of the 2005 workshop, and Susan Simmons, Administrator of the Division
of Administration, will provide a welcome at about 8:30 a.m.
A variety of presentations, ranging from security and
identify theft to personal finance and scams will follow. The conference
concludes at 4:30 p.m. One of the workshop highlights will be a 2:30
p.m. presentation about the electronic media by Maggie O’Mara,
anchor of the morning news at Boise television station KTVB.
