Log-in procedures change for access to
Vision Service Plan (VSP)

Employees who need to access information about their vision insurance coverage from Vision Service Plan (VSP) will find new log-on requirements, according to ITD’s Human Resource Services.

In the past, employees were able to log into the site using their Blue Cross plan number. That no longer is the case. For personal plan information, employees can go to the VSP Web site at: http://www.vsp.com/index.html, and click on the purple box for members and consumers.

On the next screen, click the “sign on” box that establishes new log-on credentials. Employees will be asked to provide ITD’s Blue Cross enrollee identification number – 970238366 – along with first and last name and birthdate. The plan number is the same as listed on the card issued by Blue Cross; do not include the letters IDP.

Entering that information will take employees to a standard registration page that requests an account name and choice of a password. The user name cannot contain any special characters or spaces and the password must contain a numeral.

Anyone who experiences problems completing the registration process or who forgets his/her password can contact VSP for assistance at (800) 877-7195.
