Thanks for supporting military

Pam Lowe,
In a recent article in the ITD Transporter newsletter, I saw that a special award was presented to Mr. Dave Dansereau by the ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) on behalf of one of your employees, Julian Clark. All of us are truly grateful for your sacrifice, and I therefore wanted to add my sincere thanks to you and Mr. Dansereau for your outstanding support of Idaho’s National Guard.

Without the dedicated and understanding commitment of great employers, we could not do our job in support of the citizens of our state and nation. Again, thank you for all you do, and continue to do, for all of us.

Quick, efficient response

Idaho Transportation Department,
I am in receipt of a letter from Daryl Marler to Doug Henson, dated October 23, 2007, which responded to a constituent’s concern/problem that I raised with Ed Bala and Alan Frew on behalf of Doug Henson of Stan’s Pro Tows in Pocatello.

I just wanted to pass on my appreciation for the responsiveness of your department in assisting me and helping a constituent.

Immediately after raising the issue with Ed Bala and Alan Frew, Mr. Frew set up a meeting and had all of the necessary people in attendance. My constituent was able to explain his concerns and possible solutions were discussed and confirmed in short order. This is good government and I appreciate your efforts, not only on behalf of my constituent, but also on my behalf.

I look forward to continuing to work with you.

Registration process a pleasant surprise

Division of Motor Vehicles,
My wife and I just moved back to Idaho after nine years working in Oregon. We went to your office in Meridian expecting a whole day of Mickey Mouse rules and regulations. Much to our surprise, we were in and out in approximately an hour with vehicles registered and licensed and driver’s licenses.

With your smooth operation and the friendly efficient services we were pleasantly surprised. Thanks to Michelle and your office procedures.
