Board to consider scenic byway proposals
Two new scenic byways could be created next week when the Idaho Transportation Board meets in Boise. The Scenic Byways Advisory Committee Wednesday will recommend approval of the Wild Horse Trail Scenic Byway north of Sandpoint and the Sacajawea Historic Byway in District 6.

ITD worker recovering after serious crash
Jerry Freeman devoted much of the New Year’s Day holiday weekend keeping highways in District 4 safer for motorists. The road ahead promises to be far more difficult for Freeman than the highway he plowed.

Training class schedule available on Intranet
Until recently, ITD employees who were looking for training classes found out about the schedule from their supervisors, word of mouth or from a message board in the common areas. Now anyone with access to the Intranet can view the new training calendar of district- and headquarter-sponsored classes.
