Thanks
from Statewide Truck Roadeo coordinator
I want to congratulate all of the 24 individuals who competed
at the state equipment roadeo in Mountain Home this week.
By making it to the state finals you demonstrated your
commitment to your job and your ability to do it with
precision. Just competing at the state event should be
considered a reward in itself and an honor to represent
your district.

Program
Inmate
detail to receive Adopt-A-Highway award

for trash and debris. The Canyon County Sheriff’s
Office began assigning inmates to regular cleanup campaigns

Adopt-A-Highway program.

to pick up — such as Parnell Beach along pristine
Porter Creek north of Horseshoe Bend.

District
4 parade entry spreads word
on 511
They
lined the streets, creating a gauntlet for fire trucks,
farm equipment, horses and marching bands. And appearing
prominently near the front of the parade pack at the annual
Western Days celebration in Twin Falls last week was a
reminder from the transportation department to check on
winter driving conditions before starting a journey.

Campaign targets aggressive driving behavior
With
aggressive driving contributing to more than half of all
crashes in Idaho. Law enforcement agencies throughout
the state will conduct aggressive driving campaigns June
10-23 and July 15-28 in a concerted attempt to reduce
