One-time salary increase checks delivered today
As a result of a commitment by the 2005 Legislature and an improving Idaho economy, ITD and other state employees should receive checks by the end of today for a one-time salary increase. The checks will be equivalent to 1 percent of an employee's annual salary. Working on a very short deadline, Human Resources verified eligibility and coordinated the disbursement of 1,788 checks. More than 98 percent of ITD's current roster of employees were eligible to receive the one-time payment. Payments are being made directly to employees rather than deposited into personal accounts.
